I can't believe people actually think it's reasonable to pay $46.95 for 25 cleaning tablets! You can buy a jar of 200 Urnex Cafiza Espresso Machine Cleaning Tablets for $20.75; they will work just as well as the vastly overpriced Jura Capresso tablets. Save your money and don't buy this product.
I order these about once a year and so it is not a big deal to pay $40 for the correct item when I know how long it will last.

I have had several Jura automatic machines and I would home depot black friday 2015 not put any cleaner in them other than the one Jura says. The Jura machine is too big of an investment to start getting cheap on the cleaners.
The tablets are expensive and so are the Clearyl filters. I change the filter when prompted and clean the machine with the tablet when prompted. My F9 has not failed in three years of continuous daily use. You can find numerous reviews of Jura super automatics that fail, mine has not. Is it the filters and tablets? Maybe. The tablets are $1.60 each and you need to use one every 200 cups of coffee. So that's 8/10 of one penny per cup. Probably money well spent.
These are pricey, but considering how expensive my Jura machine is I would be a fool not to do everything the maker recommends to keep it working properly for as long as possible. I use my Jura all day every day and so far so good with keeping it ship-shape.
After using the cleaning tablet, there is a noticeable difference in how everything comes out. The coffee tastes great, but it always did. What is different is when it cleans itself, the water comes out clearer. Does this make a difference? Is it really doing something? I think so. I know that for value, I would only give it one star. I guess this breaks down whatever oils, etc., build up in the lines. I do think I will do it more often, just to make sure everything stays clean. I feel like wii u black friday 2015  this is insurance and you really should only need one or two packs/year.

A note of caution, this appears to be pretty caustic stuff. The caution reads: "Do not swallow - Can irritate eyes, skin - handle with care.....if on skin, immediately flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes, contct doctor or poison control." "Contains oxygen-based bleaching agents 15-30 percent, phosphates 5-15%, anionic surfactants 5-15%."

Another note, if you think that cleaning it more by turning it on and off more often so it runs water through the lines more, don't. All that will do is cause the machine to trigger the cleaning sensor more often (every 80 shut offs I think it said).
Sure they are overpriced, but using the correct product on your expensive automatic coffee maker is a small price to pay to ensure that it is going to keep working. When you pay $2000 for a coffee maker, why would you try to save $5 and risk either harming or only partially cleaning it? False black friday laptop deals savings!
